Chapter 33
Opening the door, Oda Sakunosuke saw a scene he had never imagined: the house he had just moved into was gone.
It's not that it's completely gone; at least a roof and three walls remain. He stared at the mess inside the house. This was supposed to be a well-renovated house, with every room planned out perfectly, but now everything was gone, leaving nothing but ruins—one wall had even collapsed entirely. Should he be relieved that the whole house hadn't collapsed? Though, this didn't seem much different from it having collapsed!
Because it was a newly moved-in house, some things needed to be purchased, so Oda Sakunosuke went out to buy some supplies. He didn't expect that upon his return, he would find his house declared ruined once again.
What on earth happened? Could it be that the Uchiha clan is gathering here to fight again?!
Or is it some kind of external enemy?
What about Atsushi? Could he and that injured Uchiha kid be in danger already!
Just as Oda Sakunosuke's expression grew increasingly grim with every speculation, he was about to start searching for people, several pieces of rubble in the ruins suddenly shifted. Oda Sakunosuke instinctively tilted his head, a black-and-white tiger cub emerged from the rubble, opening its mouth to try and bite him.
Oda Sakunosuke remained motionless, only sidestepping the tiger's attack once it had leaped right in front of him, seizing the tiger's neck with his hand the moment it leaped over him.
“Roar!” The little tiger let out a pained roar.
He adjusted his movements, picking up the tiger cub to observe it closely. That was right, this was the same tiger he had seen last night; it seemed that for some unknown reason, Atsushi's ability had been triggered.
And what about that other Uchiha boy? He hasn't been eaten by the tiger Atsushi turned into, has he!
Thinking about this possibility, Oda Sakunosuke's face almost cracked, he hurriedly grabbed the tiger to go look for him.
Then, he discovered that injured Uchiha young man at a position slightly in front of where the bed used to be. Judging from the remaining traces, he had clearly just woken up and walked over. Looking again at the spot where the tiger had emerged from, he thought he probably knew what had happened.
It should have been during the time he was out; this Uchiha kid must have had a conflict with Atsushi after waking up, which is why the house was destroyed like this.
I was careless. Usually, the Uchiha I've picked up before would remain unconscious until the next day; I didn't expect this one to wake up so quickly.
Oda Sakunosuke leaned down to carefully examine the other's condition, concluding that the person had likely forced himself up just now, but the conflict with Atsushi had worsened the young Uchiha's injuries. A wound that should have healed quickly was now unpredictable.
However, having severe injuries also had its advantages; at the very least, his body would no longer launch attacks on its own.
Otherwise, it would have been quite difficult for him to deal with these two guys on his own.
So where on earth did these Uchiha come from? Every single one of them has an incredibly high level of vigilance! While sighing, Oda Sakunosuke dragged the opponent out from the rubble.
"Whimper!" The little tiger let out a whimper, unwilling to be left alone.
"I almost forgot about you. Be good now, I need to find someone to take care of you all." Oda Sakunosuke shook the little tiger in his hand and took a close look; the fluffy ball looked like a big cat and was actually quite cute.
With a final burst of resolve, he struck the tiger with a hand chop, immediately, under Oda Sakunosuke's watchful gaze, the little tiger transformed into a fainted, white-haired youth.
Looking at the two unconscious people on the ground, Oda Sakunosuke began to think about what to do next.
It was so late now that it was too late to rent a room, it wouldn't be very convenient for him to take both of them to a hotel by himself.
At this moment, help from a friend was needed, so he took out his phone and dialed a number.
Beep, beep.. One cannot commit suicide for love alone..
Hello?
“Dazai, it's me.”
Oda Sakunosuke?" Dazai asked strangely, "Why the sudden phone call?
“Due to some force majeure, the house I was living in collapsed. Do you have a place to stay over there?"
Ever since Dazai Osamu's house was violently leveled last time, he has been living somewhere mysterious, without even telling him or Ango. However, Dazai Osamu still frequently visits the bar to drink with them.
Every time they met, his spirits seemed to be in high spirits, he was quite generous, dressed in expensive clothing from head to toe.
Therefore, Ango even jokingly asked Dazai Osamu if he was being kept by a wealthy woman.
Of course, they also knew this was impossible. What wealthy woman would dare to keep a former Port Mafia executive like Dazai Osamu as a kept man!
It's due to force majeure.
"Don't tell me Uchiha Madara and the others were fighting around your house again?" Dazai Osamu asked.
Oda Sakunosuke looked up at the sky. As expected of Dazai Osamu, he hit the nail on the head with his question.
"Fortunately, I wasn't by your side this time; the area around your house is truly too dangerous!" Dazai Osamu lamented, having derived the answer from Oda Sakunosuke's silence.
"You bastard, Dazai, why has the white pajamas I took into the bathroom turned into your shirt again? Have you not had enough of this game?!" A clear yet magnetic male voice traveled from Dazai Osamu's receiver to Oda Sakunosuke's side.
For a moment, both people on the phone fell silent.
There is simply too much information!
Oda Sakunosuke thought expressionlessly, wondered if this voice was perhaps a bit too familiar?

Chapter 34
Case closed. So the person who has been "keeping" Dazai Osamu all this time is Nakahara Chuuya!
Having once been part of the Port Mafia, Oda Sakunosuke recognized the person on the other end of the line the moment he spoke. That clear, highly recognizable male voice clearly belonged to Nakahara Chuuya, the Gravity Manipulator of the Port Mafia, who was known alongside Dazai Osamu as the "Soukoku."
Oda Sakunosuke's brain began to race because of the excessive amount of information contained in the other person's words.
Logically speaking, with Dazai Osamu's departure, the Port Mafia's strongest duo, Soukoku, should have become history, Nakahara Chuuya should have become his former partner by now, the two of them should have had nothing to do with each other anymore. So what is going on now? How did these two end up together?
He used to hear Dazai Osamu complain quite often about this Port Mafia Gravity Manipulator.
What do you mean Chuuya is clearly my dog, yet he ended up running off to Mori-san?
That pitch-black, bad-tasting little brat—only his face is actually decent.
It's clearly just a hat rack, yet it's surprisingly popular with girls.
Having heard them back then and forgotten them, thinking about these words again now brings an unmistakable sense of subtlety.
Moreover, no matter how he thought about it, he felt he couldn't absolve Dazai Osamu of responsibility for getting involved with Nakahara Chuuya.
Because even if Oda Sakunosuke viewed Dazai Osamu through the lens of friendship, he could not, in good conscience, say that Dazai Osamu was an innocent and pure person; or rather, it was precisely because they were friends that he understood Dazai Osamu's wickedness even better. The fact that the two of them ended up together was most likely started by Dazai Osamu himself.
Unlike Dazai Osamu, whose reputation in the Port Mafia was notorious, Nakahara Chuuya was generous and straightforward, earning the deep love and respect of his subordinates.
With these two standing together, anyone would think it was Dazai Osamu's fault, not to mention it was obvious from Nakahara Chuuya's words just now who was at a disadvantage.
"You heard him, Oda-san, it might not be very convenient for me here." Dazai Osamu acted spoiled and rolled around with practiced ease, successfully brushing Nakahara Chuuya off, though he could do nothing to help Oda Sakunosuke with his plea.
"Yeah, I'll just go ask Ango instead." Oda Sakunosuke felt a sour sensation in his teeth after listening to Dazai Osamu's teasing of Nakahara Chuuya, which had completely redefined his understanding of his friend's lowest limits.
“That works too. Since Ango has handled so many fake Uchiha IDs, it's about time he sees the real deal.” It would be even better if he could blow up his house at the same time; Dazai Osamu couldn't help but smile just thinking about it.
“Dazai, be careful not to invite trouble upon yourself.” Oda Sakunosuke started to say something but ultimately only offered a brief warning. In the past, Dazai Osamu had been incredibly unfaithful to anyone who threw themselves at his face, but if Dazai Osamu dared to be unfaithful to Nakahara Chuuya, he didn't seem like the type of person who would just swallow his anger.
"I know my limits." Dazai Osamu gave a light cough. For some reason, he, who was usually so shameless, suddenly felt a hint of embarrassment that his friend had overheard those private words regarding Nakahara Chuuya.
What sense of restraint? The restraint of being killed by Nakahara Chuuya? Oda Sakunosuke calmly hung up the phone. He felt that Dazai Osamu might be acting somewhat irrationally right now; to think that the usually trouble-averse Dazai Osamu would make a choice like getting involved with a former partner—a choice that sounded like it would lead to endless consequences—he must have truly fallen for Nakahara Chuuya.
Love really does lower one's IQ.
Beep..
"Ango, it's me, I need help." Oda Sakunosuke repeated his request to his other friend once again.
Sakaguchi Ango was still very reliable; after hearing him, he immediately agreed to drive over and pick them up.
As soon as Oda Sakunosuke hung up the phone, he noticed that Nakajima Atsushi, who had been lying on the ground, seemed to be showing signs of waking up.
“Oda-san.” Nakajima Atsushi opened his eyes and was momentarily dazed by the shattered bricks scattered all over the ground, then hurriedly stood up. “What happened?”
"It's fine. Atsushi, do you remember what happened after I left?" Oda Sakunosuke patted his head, comforting the boy.
"After you left," Nakajima Atsushi repeated, recalling the scene before he lost consciousness.
At that time, he had been staying in the living room as Oda Sakunosuke instructed, but when he looked up, he saw that young man, who should have been lying in bed, appearing right in front of him. He didn't know what had happened, but the young man had only given him a fleeting glance upon waking, yet it made him feel as though his hair was standing on end, then he lost consciousness.
After listening to this, Oda Sakunosuke fell into thought. He estimated that the killing intent emitted by the injured Uchiha had triggered Atsushi's protective instinct, causing his ability to activate automatically, resulting in a fight between the tiger and the man that left the house in such a state.
It seemed that Atsushi's training needed to be put on the agenda. Although Atsushi had learned about his ability from others, he lost consciousness whenever he transformed into the tiger. This was dangerous for both himself and others; if he encountered a situation like this Uchiha kid again, he might not be as lucky as he was this time.
Thinking this, he pondered for a moment before telling Nakajima Atsushi his guess.
"Why is all of this mine!" Nakajima Atsushi looked at the shattered stones scattered across the ground in horror, gaining a profound realization of his own destructive power.
"Not entirely." Oda Sakunosuke thought about the little tiger cub he had been holding earlier, tactfully told Nakajima Atsushi that most of this was likely caused by that injured young man.
That's good." Nakajima Atsushi breathed a sigh of relief, but his face crumpled into a frown the next second. "But can the house still be lived in after being turned into this?
“Don't think too much about it, you're just a kid; these things should be left to the adults to worry about.” Oda Sakunosuke found a relatively clean spot. “Come, have a seat. I've called a friend to help; he should be here in a moment.”

Author's Note: I'm sorry, I've been slacking off these past few days; getting lost in shipping my favorite couples is ruining me (facepalm).
Me, a week ago, after being recommended it by a friend: The art style of Jujutsu Kaisen doesn't seem to quite fit my aesthetic.
My current self: It's actually amazing!
Geto Suguru is such a hot guy!
Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru are real!
I never thought there would come a day when I would actually fall for a character who barely even appears in an anime, even have to rely on fan-made animations to ship them.
The information obtained by these Six Eyes regarding the Whirlpool Mask and Cursed Energy shows that you are Geto Suguru
But my soul denies it. Answer me quickly, who are you!
Geto Suguru: At least say something that sounds like a curse at the end.
Gojo Satoru: Personally, I think there is no curse more twisted than love.
Gojo Satoru: My good friend picked him up, the only one.
Geto Suguru: He was once my dearest friend, but after we had a falling out, we never met again.
The kid was driven mad by the blade.
